If you haven’t heard of dropbox then I highly advise you Get a dropbox account Launched in early 2008 seed funded from Y Combinator. Dropbox has been growing slowly and gaining a lot of positive reviews from everyone. The service allows you to have a folder on your computer which syncs with all your other computers that you have set up dropbox on. As well as this it of coutrse stores it all online, so even if your not on your computer you can still grab those files that you need from your dropbox.
There have been too many times to even count that I have relied on this cloud hosted service to keep any recent files or projects with me at all time. A feature which isn’t too wildly discussed is sharing files on dropbox with your friends and family. Dropbox allows you to share a folder in your dropbox with a folder in theirs. This has been a really handy feature if you want to work on a project amongst several people but all to still be on the same page, share pictures and documents with your family or just to be able to throw some stuff in a folder to a mate and get their opinion of it.
Can’t recommend it more, plus its free.
